PFP

Polyphenol Analysis Platform

PFP: Polyphenol Analysis Platform: A platform dedicated to the analysis of polyphenols from fruits, plants, foods, processed products.

▶️ The PFP platform is one of the four platforms that make up the PROBE research infrastructure, which is part of the Food axis of CALIS. This platform is backed by the UMR Sciences Pour l’Œnologie (SPO), a joint unit between INRAE (MICA department), Institut Agro Montpellier and Université de Montpellier, whose research contributes to a better understanding of the mechanisms involved in wine making, and to meet the challenges of the sector.

▶️ The PFP platform develops methodological tools to better explore the diversity of polyphenols, from plant raw materials to food, and contribute to a sustainable diet. PFP thus offers approaches by high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) for the analysis of simple and evolved polyphenols, in complex matrices.

▶️ PFP is ISO9001 certified, recognized as an INRAE Collective Scientific Infrastructure, and labeled by the GIS IBiSA.
