The service offers of the Consumer Cluster are those provided by the 4 platforms that compose it:

 

✔️ The e-platform Tools and data in food (Odalim)

 

- The Odalim Platform provides easy access to databases characterizing the supply and demand of consumers according to 2 main categories:
- The Odalim Platform provides tools for data classification and multi-criteria analyses in the field of food:
 
  • ApparAlimInnov: Food product pairing tool developed as part of the INNOV project (MP DID’IT) by the data team at TSE-R
  • Oqclassif: Automatic product classification tools in the nomenclature of the Food Observatory (Oqali)
  • Getiq: Solution for nutritional labeling that allows generating four nutritional scores
  • Simple Decoding Ingredients: Web Service allowing to transform a list of ingredients in text form (as displayed on the packaging of food products), into a usable format in JSON
  • Anatole: Analysis of the Ordered Rates of ingredients in industrial recipes
  • OpenFoodFact API: Access to OpenFoodFacts data in JSON format via a Webservice made available by Odalim
- The Odalim Platform proposes the Socio Eco device which allows through its secure remote office the exploitation of data in agreement with their owners.

 

✔️ The experimental economics platform of the applied economics laboratory of Grenoble (UMR GAEL)

The offer is primarily based on the sharing of knowledge around the consumption and product offer axis of the UMR GAEL to observe, understand and model decision-making and consumer behaviors revealed by an experimental economics approach.

The services of the experimental economics platform are related to the conduct of experiments within the framework of research programs in connection with the UMR GAEL to obtain results on:

  • the observation of individual and collective behaviors
  • the design of public policies and markets
  • the measurement of customer value

The experiments involve organizing test sessions on panels of volunteers made up of students and consumers, according to a quality approach set up with the EcoSocio-INRAE department.

 

✔️ Team: Determinants of eating behavior throughout life, relationships with health (Déterminants du comportement alimentaire au cours de la vie, relations avec la santé) of the Center for Taste and Food Sciences (UMR CSGA - Dijon)

The offer of this team concerns the capitalization of multidisciplinary knowledge on eating behaviors from childhood and throughout life. For this, specific methodologies are developed on sensory evaluation, developmental and cognitive psychology, ethology, nutrition and statistical modeling of food preferences.

The services therefore go through collaborations of the team Determinants of eating behavior throughout life, relationships with health (Déterminants du comportement alimentaire au cours de la vie, relations avec la santé) in scientific programs around the themes on:

  • Early development of preferences and eating behaviors
  • Role of perceptual and cognitive mechanisms on preferences and eating behaviors
  • Impact of eating behavior on the nutritional status of the elderly

 

✔️ The Nutrinet-Santé study carried out by the nutritional epidemiology research team (EREN)

The service of the NutriNet-Santé Study involves a very precise estimation of nutritional exposure and eating behavior in order to help understand the relationships between nutrition and health,
